Minecraft: PS4 Edition could be finding a physical retail disc release this October.

After Microsoft's buying of Mojang was announced earlier this year, both Minecraft pe skins developer and Xbox division head Phil Spencer were quick to reassure fans that they still want to keep the popular sandbox creation title on Playstation platforms for example the recently released PS4 edition with the game.  Making good on that promise, the official Playstation blog announced on Sept. 18 that Minecraft: PS4 Edition could be finding a physical retail disc release this October.
